Day 5 
 

• The final day of the November sale saw 264 catalogued and 136 sold (51%) with the average price being €9,069.

• Overall there were 1264 catalogued and 660 sold (52%) for an average of €11,448.

• Ben Case bought the top lot of the day which was a son of Presenting for €75,000.  He is a full brother to Weapon’s Amnesty, winner of the Gr.1 Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle and the Gr.1 RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He was purchased for his client Lady Jane Grosvenor from Trench Hill Farm on behalf of Aaron Metcalfe.

• Another son of Presenting was bought by RBR Bloodstock for €40,000 from Paddy Kennedy. He is a half-brother to a winning point-to-pointer and is out of the Listed jumps placed Dame Foraine. She is a half sister to Celtic Son, who won a Gr.2 chase and is related to more black type winners over jumps and on the flat. 

• Kevin Heaney bought a daughter of King’s Theatre for €31,000 from Candlefort Stud on behalf of Paschal Keenan. She is a three parts sister to One Cool Cookie, winner of the Gr.1 Powers Gold Cup and In Compliance, who won the Gr.1 John Durkan Memorial Chase.

• Another daughter of King’s Theatre was purchased by Welsh-based Rowland Crellin for €30,000 from Lismortagh Stud on behalf of Elizabeth Grant. She is a full-sister to Menorah, winner of the Gr.1 Supreme Novices Hurdle.

• John O’Byrne bought a son of Presenting for €30,000 from Ashfield House. He is a half brother to Beroni, who won the Gr.2 Troytown Chase at Navan along with five other wins. 

• Peter Molony got a son of Robin Des Champs for €30,000 from Coolruss Stud. He is out of an unraced half sister to Santenay, winner of the Gr.2 Elite Hurdle, and Chamirey, who was placed in the Listed Pertemps Final.

• Little Chip Farm paid €30,000 for a Presenting colt from Marston Stud. He is a half brother to two useful three-times winning mares, who are out of an unraced half-sister to Thisthatandtother, winner of the Gr.1 Tolworth Hurdle and the Gr.2 Ryanair Chase. 

• Fiona Magee bought another son of Presenting for, yes you guessed it, €30,000! He is the third foal out of an unraced King’s Theatre half sister to Farmer Brown, winner of the Gr.1 Galway Hurdle. He was sold by Yellowford Farm. 

• A son of King’s Theatre was bought by John Nallen for €27,000 from Gerry Mullins’ Ballyduane Stud. Nallen has already owned or trained three of this colt’s relations including Minella Theatre and Minella Clonmel, who are his winning brothers. They are all out of the Northern Baby mare Ring Of Water, whose best produce is Plinsky, who is a Gr.1-winning Italian jumper. 

• Agence Fips purchased a King’s Theatre colt for €25,000 from Cleaboy Stud & Coppice Farm. Her dam is a half-sister to Mesange Royale, who is a Gr.1-winning French jumper and Gazelle Royale, who was the Gr.1 Oaks runner-up.
