  • Irish-bred horses were again dominant on the international stage at Australia's Melbourne Cup meeting. The first seven horses home in the big race - Green Moon, Fiorente, Jakkalberry, Kelinni, Mount Athos, Glencadam Gold and Mourayan - were all bred in the Emerald Isle.
